Lifting systems with hydraulic cylinders are provided for shimming the springs of the tramway wheels, just after the machining of an underfloor wheel lathe. The supply normally includes 2 or 4 hydraulic cylinders with variable stroke from 500 mm to 1000 mm, complete with hydraulic control unit. The cylinders are positioned in a pit, in a suitable position normally defined during the design phase.
