Sales Area Manager – Asia & Australia
Purpose of the position: Reference person for the representatives/ agents in the area, follow up of the tenders, market promotion, business development and sales reporting. The following list is related to the purpose
- Achievement of the annual sales budget for the area (Asia & Australia)
- Management of your own sales area with supervision of the activities of agents and / or dealers
- Research and selection of agents and / or dealers for your area in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Director
- Order management in collaboration with project manager and technical manager
- Increase of the customer portfolio
- Promotion and consolidation of the Brand
Department: Sales
Reporting to: Commercial Director (operational)
Activities:
- Management of relationships with various customers with periodic visits to measure their satisfaction
- Reporting of market needs and new business opportunities
- Coordination of the sales network in the area with monitoring of the performances
- Daily update of the status of opportunities in the area on the “Salesforce” platform
- Weekly monitoring and planning of commercial activities related to the area
- Verification of the relevance of the requests received in relation to the company strategy with identification together with the Bertolotti Rail technicians of possible customization of the standard products
- Management and control of the tender phase in collaboration with the Bid Manager
- Site inspections during tender phase, involving, if necessary, the staff of the technical department
- Preparation of the standard technical offer
- Preparation of the commercial offer to be submitted to the Sales & Marketing Director for validation with analysis of the specific payment conditions compared to the company standards.
- Analysis of contractual conditions with identification of Risks / Benefits also with the possible involvement of specialists (lawyers, consultants, …)
- Participation and negotiation support with Sales & Marketing Director
- Monthly progress report for the Management of the commercial KPI, targets and annual budget
Skills and experiences:
- Budgeting and cost calculation
- Management of Minimum 5 agents and / or dealers in the area
- Relationship with customers
Important features for the role:
- Experience on the railway market (minimum 3 years)

Mechanical Engineer
Purpose of the position: Senior Designer for the Bertolotti Rail technical office, issue of bill of materials and drawings
Department: Technical Department
Reporting to: Technical Director
Activities:
- Analysis of commercial documentation
- Development of projects in accordance with customer requests and commercial documentation
- Modelling and designation
- Management of external design companies
- Minimum capacity for structural analysis
- Preparation of bills and issue of documents
- Issue of bill of materials
- Interface with production and assembly manager during machine construction
- Experience in companies with production departments is much appreciated
- Possibility of short trips (1-2 days maximum, a few times a year)
Skills and experiences:
- Design of mechanical systems and complex systems (preferably railway workshops sector)
- Design and calculation
- Minimum experience of 5 years
Knowledge:
- High experience with 3D CAD systems with preference of AutoCAD Inventor
- FEM systems
- Office suite
- Experience in companies with advanced management systems ERP is appreciated

Electrical / Automation Technician
Purpose of the position: SW developer & internal and external tests supervisor.
Department: Technical Department
Reporting to: Technical Director
Activities:
- Software development (PLC, HMI, Inverter).
- Internal testing.
- External testing / Commissioning and Training.
- Coordination of external personnel during the testing phases (in Bertolotti and on site);
- Production of test reports.
- Conformity / quality checks during the production phase of the machines (on the machine, electrical panels, etc.)
- Functional and reliability checks during the internal (FAT) and external (SAT) testing phases.
Skills and experiences:
- Software development (PLC, HMI, Inverter).
- Commissioning and Training supervisor
- Testing of electrical automation systems.
Knowledge:
- Able to read wiring diagrams.
- Good knowledge of the Siemens TIA Portal programming interface.
- Knowledge of Siemens products (G120, ET200SP, KTP700);
- Basic knowledge of 2D AutoCAD;

Proposal Engineer
Purpose of the position: Definition and preparation of the technical proposal for bids for national and international tenders with estimation of the costs.
Department: Commercial Technical Office
Reporting to: Technical Director (hierarchical) – Commercial Director (operational)
Activities:
- Study of the technical proposal with feasibility analysis
- Estimation of the costs of the proposed technical solutions
- Technical and economic risks analysis
- Preparation of the technical offer specification
- Preparation of the layout, diagrams and technical drawings illustrating the proposed technical solution
- Preparation of the compliance matrix to the tender requirements
- Carrying out inspections at the customer’s workshops where necessary
- Presentation of the technical proposal to the client and participation in the offer meetings with the client
- Interface with the technical office for updating the technical proposals
- Interface with the Sales Managers for the scheduling of offers to be presented
Skills and experiences:
